You will join the Development team working for national and international brands, managing diverse of projects ranging from marketing pages and content to experiential microsites, institutional websites, eCommerce, and gaming.

You will be the technical reference for the agency's front-end development team (which currently has 12 members), guiding and listening to colleagues and understanding problems and proactively suggesting solutions in compliance with the company's objectives for quality and innovation.

We are looking for a collaborative, organised, goal-oriented person with a solid technical background.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the front-end team and guide them technically by improving production standards in line with agency requirements (processes, methodologies, documentation, technologies, etc.);
  • Contribute to the growth of the front-end team by providing technical expertise/experience and sharing effective working methods;
  • Evaluate the introduction of new technologies;
  • Actively monitor production output quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the team;
  • Help outline training and growth plans for the front-end team;
  • Support HR in the technical assessment of the team and operational issues of training, development and recruitment;
  • Support the Sales team in the quotation of projects;
  • Lead periodic debrief meetings to analyse the projects carried out, evaluate the work and adherence to market and agency quality standards, sharing internally the best practices and solutions adopted.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing a team as a Technical Team Lead, or at least 5 years experience in the development of digital agency projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to accurately estimate costs, time and resources required to implement solutions;
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology:
  • Good knowledge of the English language.

Technical skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of the latest standards of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+ and their main preprocessors;
  • Good knowledge of responsive design concepts and mobile-first approaches;
  • Very good knowledge of the basic concepts of SEO and development of best practices in compliance with W3C standards (for the types of projects that require it);
  • Excellent knowledge of Git and the main branching models (Git flow, GitHub flow...);
  • Familiarity with bundlers (Webpack, Gulp...) and package managers (NPM, Yarn...);
  • Good knowledge of the main javascript patterns and familiarity with javascript frameworks/libraries (React, VueJS, Svelt...);
  • Familiarity with development in WordPress environment with Advanced Custom Fields;
  • Familiarity with Shopify development;
  • Familiarity with the main WebGL libraries (Three.js, Pixi JS, OGL...).
