Playground is looking for a freelance copywriter for occasional collaborations.

Overview

You will have the opportunity to work for national and international brands, managing various types of projects ranging from creating content for websites, landing pages, and other digital platforms, to developing creative concepts that guide brand positioning in communication and determine its presence on online and offline channels.

We are looking for a creative and organised person, capable of moving seamlessly between writing and content management, who can independently conceive and manage strategic solutions to achieve business objectives.

Main responsibilities

Writing and developing persuasive content for various communication channels, including websites, newsletters/DEM, social media, product marketing banners/e-commerce, and email campaigns;

Planning and managing an editorial calendar, collaborating with the design and development team to ensure timely publication of content;

Ensuring that content aligns with the client’s tone of voice and brand identity;

Creating and drafting engaging creative concepts for pitches, projects, and TTL communication;

Ensuring that advertising messages are persuasive, clear, and aligned with clients’ marketing objectives.

Skills and qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in communication and social media marketing;

Ability to independently gather project briefs and develop communication strategies that reflect business objectives;

Experience in interacting with high-level clients and maintaining a consultative approach to their requests, challenging assumptions when necessary and proposing alternative solutions;

Proficiency with major social platforms (Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest);

Experience in planning, creating, and publishing content on various social platforms;

Experience in managing a brand’s community, promptly responding to inquiries and requests;

Autonomy in using social media analysis tools and the ability to interpret data to optimise strategies;

Advanced knowledge of copywriting techniques and at least basic SEO text optimization skills;

Experience with ATL (above-the-line) and BTL (below-the-line) campaigns;

Native Italian speaker with excellent knowledge of English;

Flexibility and independence in work.
