The overview
Design and development of a microsite for entertainment and inspiration.
THE CHALLENGE
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to work under entirely new circumstances. The period's uncertainty made it hard to plan ahead, so we needed to work on a day-by-day basis. How could we keep the outdoor brand and consumer relationship alive when everyone was locked down indoors?
THE SOLUTION
We created a multimedia content hub—a place where North Face customers could continue to explore the great outdoors from the comfort (and safety) of their home. The hub hosted video content, articles, tutorials and events, including exclusive video calls with athletes and explorers. We created a virtual meeting place for those who never stop exploring—offering inspiration and entertainment at a difficult time.
Design
We designed a layout that would make it easier for the user to explore the content without sacrificing creativity and style.




Email marketing
We supported this initiative with an email marketing camapign that reflected the look and feel of the microsite.


Blog Post
We created engaging blog posts exploring history's great adventurers and their extraordinary feats.
