The overview
The North Face® challenged us to design and develop an educational microsite dedicated to layering systems for outdoor activities.
THE CHALLENGE
Outdoor sports, from mountaineering to trail running, all have distinct layering systems—and each system serves a different purpose. Non-professionals are often unaware of the methods and benefits of good layering. So we developed a solution to help TNF customers make the right choice.
THE SOLUTION
Visitors selected their sport to discover the ideal layers to wear: from base layers to windbreakers. We laid out each system with detailed explanatory texts and videos to highlight the benefits of each layer.
Design
We gave a lot of space to the study of the user experience. We enriched each section with videos to make the experience even more dynamic and engaging.
Email marketing
We supported this project with an email marketing campaign that reflected the look and feel of the microsite.
